Call or use the scheduler to confirm the exact area offered and the appointment length. Different areas may need different hair growth, preparation and privacy arrangements.
Before your appointment
Mention retinoids, exfoliating acids, prescription acne treatment, recent peels, laser procedures, sunburn, irritation or broken skin. The provider may advise postponing waxing when skin is more vulnerable.
Aftercare and possible reactions
Temporary redness, tenderness, follicle irritation and ingrown hairs can occur. Follow instructions about heat, friction, exfoliation and sun exposure. Contact the clinic if a reaction is severe or persistent.
Pricing and repeat visits
Pricing depends on the area. Confirm the current price and recommended hair length when booking. Waxing removes hair temporarily, so repeat appointments may be needed based on your preference and hair growth.

Can I wax while using a retinoid?
Tell the provider exactly which topical or oral retinoid you use before booking. Waxing can injure sensitized skin, so the appointment may need to be changed or postponed.
